Today we’ll learn how to say “I love you too” in Spanish. We already know how to say I love you but now we are going to learn how to reply in a lovely way when we feel the same. First important thing you have to know is that there’s many ways to say “I love you too”.
As you know, in Spanish we don’t need to say the word “Yo” (English “I”) all the time, because the grammatical person is implied in the conjugation of the verb. I use grammatical words because I know you’re an expert in this.
So, that’s why there are many ways to say “I love you too”. You can choose between the short version: “Yo también”. Or the extended one: “Yo también te amo“. In the first one is like you’re saying just “Me too”. In the second one, you’re saying “I love you too”. The whole sentence. You can change the order of the words and say “Yo te amo también” or “También yo te amo“. Or also “También yo“. But let’s say that the typical answer is just “Yo también te amo“.

Ok, in that case, you have options. One is to answer just “Y yo te quiero mucho” (“And I love you so much”, but a love that is not so big as the love of “Te Amo”).
Also, you can answer with “Yo te quiero“. Or a simple “Te quiero“.
Another funny way to reply is by saying “I love you more than…(something)”. In Spanish, you can say: “Te amo más que a mis gatos“.
Adding Intimacy to the ”i love you too” in Spanish with special Terms
Incorporating terms of endearment can make your response more intimate. Some classic Spanish terms include:
