Being native, our teachers focus on the cultural transmission of each country. Wanderlust teaches through Latin American games, stories, music and figures where students can learn Latin American art, grammar and have fun at the same time!

Spanish for kids: the best way to learn

Here you have 5 tips to do your child´s study a best experiencie:

Specific Areas for study

Designate specific areas for homework and studying. Designate specific areas for homework and studying. Possibilities include the kitchen, dining room, or your child’s bedroom.Organize study and homework projects. Get a large dry erase calendar — one that allows space for jotting things down in the daily boxes

Discuss Studies

Talk to kid about what he did in every subject in the class on each day. Asking him about it will keep him more alert in the class. Know about his favourite subject, favourite class and favourite teacher too.

Make Study Goals Together

It is a good idea to set goals that achievable and can be achieved with dedication and hard work. You may make short term, medium-term and long term studying goals with your kid so that he stays motivated and also can track his progress.

Focus on your child’s interests

When learning engages children in areas and subjects of interest, learning becomes fun and children engage in learning. If you really want to help your child to become a good learner, encourage him to explore topics and subjects that fascinate him. If he likes dinosaurs, help him find engaging and interesting books and stories about dinosaurs. Then challenge him to identify his five favorite dinosaurs and explain why he chose each one.

Recognize and celebrate achievements

No matter how small they may be, it’s important to recognize and celebrate your child’s achievements. This is especially important for elementary age school children who require constant positive reinforcement to keep them motivated to learn and challenge themselves to do better.

In addition to offering you a Spanish immersion program, the teachers will also talk to you about the learning process in your child’s Spanish classes. We want to share with kids the Latin American culture and the opportunity to know native speakers form every country in Latin America
