It is a 3-day music festival originally from Chicago, United States. This year here in Buenos Aires we have this festival on March 17, 18 and 19. 

Why go? 

There you can listen to more than 100 international bands that come from all over the world, there are activities for children, food tracks, and much more! It is ideal to spend the day in a different way.

Don´t miss: you have to pay, but if you can go, it’s a great opportunity to see what an incredible crowd we are. 

Parque de La Costa in March 2023

What is it?

It is an amusement park located in the city of Tigre, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Why go?:

Because it is one of the largest amusement parks in Argentina and you can find a lot of games,fast food too, and so much fun!!

Don´t miss: 

If you go, you can’t miss the Boomerang Roller Coaster (is the white one), the Water Roller Coaster, Challenge Roller Coaster (is the green one), the Pendulum, and the Extreme Vertigo!!

Because the entrance is free and is very famous in our city. Has exceptional hosts of works by Goya, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Rodin, Manet and Chagall among other artists. 

Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo

What is it?:

This museum is one of the most exceptional and incredible museums in our city. It’s located in one of the most beautiful areas: Av. del Libertador 1902.

Why go?: 

The entrance is also free and it has many interesting things… Collection of pieces of European and Oriental decorative arts, sculptures, tapestries and paintings from the 16th to the 19th centuries. 

Don´t miss: 

If you have the opportunity, don´t forget to drink a coffee and eat something delicious in “Croque Madame”. It’s just outside the museum. It’s a wonderful place to eat and drink something after or before the tour 😋

Teatro Colón:

What is it?: 

The Teatro Colón is the main opera house in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and it is considered one of the ten best opera houses in the world.

Why go?:

Because if you like the choir or the orchestra it is an ideal proposal that if you have the opportunity to go you cannot miss it! It costs money to attend one of his plays, but it is totally worth it. The acoustics that the Teatro Colón presents is truly marvelous and incredible.

Don´t miss:

If you want to take a tour of the Theater without seeing one of its shows, you can too! Admission is free on weekends, and in the week it costs $1.200.

El Rosedal it’s an incredible park located in the neighborhood of Palermo.

Why go?:

El Rosedal is one of the most beautiful green areas in our city where you can enjoy good moments with your friends. What better than enjoying a sunny day with friends drinking mates? Nothing!

Do not forget to go through its incredible bridges, smell its beautiful flowers, and take many photos with its beautiful views.

Chori en el Parque 3 de Febrero

What is it?: 

Parque 3 de Febrero is better known as “Los Bosques de Palermo”. It is located in Palermo neighborhood, between Libertador and Figueroa Alcorta Avenues. El Rosedal is located in this same neighborhood, it is even very close to each other.

Why go?:

It is a really good place to get fresh air, eat a typical food here that it calls “Choripan”, see their groves, lakes, rose gardens and ducks. 

Barquito en los Lagos de Palermo

What it is?:

It’s an activity where you can demonstrate your skills and dexterity sailing by boat in these incredible lakes that are located in the Palermo neighborhood. It’s really fun! 

Why go?:

Another incredible plan to do over the weekend is to sail on a boat through the “Lagos de Palermo” or Palermo Lakes. It is a different and very fun activity that is usually done with friends and family! You have to pay but it’s usually never that expensive.

Don´t miss: To say hello to the ducks for us! There are so cute 😊

El Ateneo Grand Splendid

What it is?:

Is the most famous library in Buenos Aires, and one of the most beautiful around the world. 

Why go?:

It is wonderful for its history, and beautiful for its architecture. It started as a cinema and a theater, then a radio, and finally today it is a bookstore/library with a cafeteria inside.

Don´t miss:

Watch the splendid dome. Drink a coffee and read a book in the coffee shop. If you are a fan of reading, there is no more peaceful plan than this. 

Museo MALBA

What it is?:

The Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires is a museum located on Figueroa Alcorta Avenue, in the neighborhood of Palermo, that brings more than 220 iconic works of Latin American art. 

Why go?:

Tickets are $1,100, but it really worth it visiting at least once in your life. It is a very nice and interactive museum. Many students usually go to see it and leave delighted with the incredible works that can be seen.

Don´t miss: 

You cannot miss any of the works exhibited there, in addition to having a drink or eating something in its restaurant, taking part in the activities, and stopping by the museum store in case you want to take home some souvenir 🥰
